Most legal restrictions have been lifted and our services are returning to normal. We now offer advice from our offices in Middlesbrough and South Bank. For more details and to book an appointment please ring us on 01642 254544 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
 
The Community Hubs in Middlesbrough have also re-opened for advice on an appointment only basis. Please ring 01642 802303 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday to book an appoinment.

 

 

About us

 

Since the charity was founded in 1992 we have provided one to one advice, lay advocacy, and representation in all aspects of welfare benefits, housing, and debt issues along with the various spin-off problems arising from them such as repossessions, evictions, domestic violence, poverty, and distress. 

 

The charity also provides on the job training for residents who are both socially and economically excluded from the labour market.

 

Cleveland Housing Advice Centre was officially registered as a charity on 25 October 1993 with registration number 1027540. On 9 July 2013 Cleveland Housing Advice Centre became incorporated as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with a new (CIO) number of 1152785. We are also registered with the Information Commissioner under registration number ZA437362 and with the Financial Conduct Authority with registration number 627715.
