COVID-19 Precautions

CHAC takes the safety of all our staff and everyone who visits us very seriously so we have taken steps to ensure that CHAC is as safe as possible as the office re-opens and people begin visiting us once again. On this page we outline the steps we have taken and what we will be asking you to do when you visit us for the safety of everyone. The key points and requirements are bullet pointed below:

  • We are operating an appointment only system, if you do not have an appointment you will not be allowed entry
  • We are asking everyone to wear a mask, santise their hands and confirm they are free from symptoms of COVID-19, entry will not be allowed if you fail any of these tests or are not willing to comply with these requirements
  • We will take your temperature to using an infrared thermometer to make sure your temperature is in a safe range, entry will not be permitted if you have a high temperature
  • Where possible please attend your appointment alone, if you have to bring someone with you please bring only one other person
  • Please try and maintain a 2m distance from our staff at all times, the floor has been marked to help you do this
  • We will only allow one person into the office at a time and will sanitise all surfaces between appointments. If you arrive early you will not be allowed into the office until just before your appointment time and, in any event, after we have sanitised all surfaces
  • Please be aware our staff will be wearing masks and potentially face visors, we appreciate this may be intimidating but it's for everyone's safety, your own as well as ours

We would ask that if you have developed symptoms of COVID-19 within 14-days of your visit to CHAC that you let us know so that we can take steps to ensure the safety of our staff and other visitors.

Finally, the above steps and our other procedures have been developed in light of guidance from the Government for those working from offices. You can find more information on the guidance that we have been referring to when developing our procedures here.

Please bear with us during the current difficult times. We are doing our best to continue to provide our services to you whilst also protecting everyone. If you have any other concerns regarding visiting CHAC either before, during or after your visit please do get in touch and we will do our best to address them. Our main priority is the safety of everyone.
